Intel Integrated Performance Primitives and their use in application development
Machač, Jiří ; Přinosil, Jiří (referee) ; Malý, Jan (advisor)
The aim of the presented work is to demonstrate and evaluate the contribution of computing system SIMD especially units MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, SSSE3 and SSE4 from Intel company, by creation of demostrating applications with using Intel Integrated Performance Primitives library. At first, possibilities of SIMD programming using intrinsic function, vektorization and libraries Intel Integrated Performance Primitives are presented, as next are descibed options of evaluation of particular algorithms. Finally procedure of programing by using Intel Integrated Performance Primitives library are ilustrated.
Modeling and control of rear driven axle for Formula Student
Kavec, Matúš ; Veselý, Libor (referee) ; Pohl, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis is focused on design of controll structure of Formula Student monopost. Part of the thesis is a design and subsequent debgging ofthe model so it has the best possible response compared to reality. A PID controller with two degrees of freedom was used to create the control structure. Created controll structure has the task of regulating the system to the required value. By reducing skid, which is often unwanted in race cars, we can achieve better response while accelerating.
Sensors for driver assistance systems
Ptáček, Martin ; Čala, Martin (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is devoted to vehicle stabilization systems, especially to the Anti-lock Braking System ABS, Anti-Skid Regulation ASR and Electronic Stability Program ESP. The main emphasis is placed on sensors needed for implementation of these systems and their required parameters. Findings learned are applied for the implementation of the stabilization system in the model car of the scale 1:10. The relation between the quality of measured sensor data and quality of the resulting stabilization is analyzed using model platfrom testing.
Creating and testing bioluminescence sensors for cytokinins in Arabidopsis thaliana
Novotná, Lenka ; Petrášek, Jan (advisor) ; Vosolsobě, Stanislav (referee)
Advances in microscopy and the sensitivity of novel biosensors have enabled the development of new methods for monitoring phytohormones with low invasiveness and relatively high resolution, providing greater insight into phytohormone function in plants. Genetically encoded indirect biosensors for cytokinins, one of the main plant hormones, are widely used for the tracking of dynamic changes in their levels during plant development and growth. The cytokinin-sensitive synthetic promoters used as cytokinin biosensors are being continuously improved, providing better insight into cytokinin function. However, the reporter systems used for the visualizations are either based on the enzymatic reaction producing colour or on the usage of fluorescence proteins. Luminescence-based biosensors are often used to visualize signaling outputs of plant hormones, but they are based on exogenous addition of luciferin substrate. Therefore, in this thesis, I have introduced a new technique for the generation of cytokinin signaling output sensors based on autonomous bioluminescence. This autonomous bioluminescence represents a non-invasive technique that depends on the expression of the whole autonomous bioluminescence system from fungi Neonothopanus nambi, in particular, the caffeic acid cycle with the fungal...
